Message of ’56 // 1956 – In the memories of generations – Oláh Gábor filmje


This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Revolution of 1956, when the people of Hungary dared to confront their oppressors. When the revolution was crushed by the Soviet Union’s tanks, some 200,000 Hungarians fled the country, thousands of them finding refuge and a new home in the United Kingdom. Our video competition aimed to collect some of their stories.
