After a very successful spring and summer event, our popular GOULASH FESTIVAL is about to return to Colchester in autumn again! If you are hungry for some authentic Hungarian, than look no further – come and spend a superb family day with us!
What you can expect?
A unique and authentic Hungarian family-festival filled with culture, music, artisan products, children activities and mouth-watering traditional food and drink all around.
Join us and taste the real Hungarian goulash dish made in cauldron at the scene. Or you might a big fan of a decent size red paprika seasoned spicy sausage? No problem, we have it all! Choose our traditional Hungarian langosh too (the super tasty deep fried bread dough with garlic, cheese and sour-cream) or the famous Transylvanian chimney-cake (”kürtőskalács”) which is sweet bread with crispy cover and a light fluffy dough inside, but the festival features many more mouth-watering Hungarian culinary enjoyments too.
Don’t forget to try our world famous spirit called PALINKA, which made of pure fruits only. Truly unique, just like our quality wines we brought to you from different Hungarian wine regions.

No problem, the more the merrier! Feel free to bring your own chairs, tables, tents, blankets, picnic baskets if you would like to enjoy your own food with entertainment around.

All furry friends are welcome on their leash with their best behaviour.

Adults: £5.00 / person (by cash at the gate)
